The Enable control is the "on/off switch" for this function. You can have a standard "vacation" message composed and entered in the Vacation Message panel, without it going out to people who send you messages. Only when the Enable box is checked will your vacation message be sent out.
You can activate and deactivate the message any time you wish by coming to this page, and setting or unsetting the Enable box.
Don't forget to click the Save Preferences button at the bottom of the page, in order to record your setting!
Don't forget to return to the GatorLink WebMail Preferences, and "un-check" the Enable setting when you are once again available to respond to e-mail!
