Software Licensing Services is a part of the Center for Instructional and Research Computing Activities (CIRCA), and seeks to serve the University of Florida community by providing complete assistance in matters of acquiring computer software.
What does Software Licensing Services do?
Plans software license information services
Communicates with UF software buyers, UF Purchasing, software vendors, and departmental interests who are researching and coordinating licenses
Builds and maintains a UF Web page devoted to software licenses. This Web site offers tools to find campus information about established licenses and provides information about potential or in-progress licenses.

Publicizes license information electronically and by traditional means invites contributions to the Web-based software catalog
Contact the UF Computing Help Desk, (352) 392-HELP, for the latest information on obtaining the currently supported communications package for your PC/workstation. Supported software either comes with your operating system or is available to UF users on the UF Software CD, or from the Web at http://software.ufl.edu.
A CD-ROM compatible with both MS-Windows and Macintosh computers is available to UF students, faculty, and staff. The CD contains training software from NETg, Internet software, and utilities. For more information on the UF Software CD, refer to the Web site at http://www.circa.ufl.edu/cd-rom. The CD can be purchased at the UF Technology Hub for a nominal fee.
